The climax is done!

Yes folks, the final battle has been written and sent to my proof readers.  Now all I have to do is wind the story down and set the scene so the follow on books link easily in to it.

I am actually sitting here bathed in sweat from the effort of writing that battle scene.  I hope I got it right, as there were four different focal points in the battle which I had to keep switching to.  So I’m hoping my proof readers will come back to me and assure me that it isn’t too confusing with the switches.

Actually I’m hoping my proof readers will tell me the battle left them panting with excitement, almost as much as it did me.  ;-)

After Tuesdays wasted time, I was more than a little annoyed that I had to go to my father-in-laws yet again yesterday to do his shopping.  So it was with a black mood I left the house, and hubby happily playing tetris.

But I was happily surprised when he came running down the street after me, and offered to drive me to his father’s!

Yes folks hubby got off his brains and actually took me to Bills!  Shaving a whole two and a half hours off my journey time compared to going by London Transport!

In turn that meant I wasn’t as tired when we got home and so I was able to do some more writing in preparation for the big battle scene. :-)

I suspect it was because I had so graphically explained to hubby the day before, the reason why I resented spending those wasted thirteen hours at his fathers, he must have decided he needed to earn some brownie points! lol

Either which way, I now stand a chance, all be it a slim chance, of actually being able to write “The End”, before the midnight deadline tomorrow.  :-)

So I’m off to put my nose back to the grind-stone.  Have a wonderful day everyone!
